Viktoria started pole dancing in 2008.
Being self-taught, she has created a whole range of unique tricks and original variations of other moves, finding new transitions and improving current ones. With the help of choreographers, she cleaned up all the tricks, giving attention to poise, lines, foot positioning, and better angles.
Originally being a world economy specialist, Viktoria changed her profession dramatically. To extend her knowledge she entered the Choreography faculty of Khabarovsk State Institute of Arts and Culture and, has been certificated for
advanced training and specialization on “Stage production for Group Choreography.”
Viktoria has developed and keeps on improving her own pole methodology that covers teaching pole techniques (grips, spins, and safety issues), choreography basics, specifics of work on static and spinning poles, improving strength, stretching and flexibility, revealing the ways to get the most effect of regular training for professionals and non-professionals. Being a pole dance instructor she started to standardize tricks and moves (according to moves type, difficulty and order of learning).
Viktoria has organised the Open Pole Championship in Vladivostok since 2008, which at the moment covers the Russian Far East. By means of the championship, she aims to inspire people to try pole dancing or progress if they are involved already, to meet and share experiences, and to bring new trends of the stream for learning – from new tricks to creating performance ideas.
